I feel extremely good because I know I gave a good report for my Japanese Economics class today. I worked hard on that article (which was full of economic equations about trade balance and such), trying to make it as simple and understandable as possible– and I think (well, at least I hope) that the class actually paid attention and understood what I was trying to say.

Oh, and the clincher? They clapped for me after my report!

This class is very non-reactionary, the kind with students sitting there thinking Please-Lord-just-let-this-be-over-and-done-with. So applause was a huge, gargantuan, phenomenal deal.
